MAG Box IPTV Setup Guide: Portal URLs and Activation

Infomir MAG set-top boxes (MAG 254, 322, 421, 520, 524, and 540) are legendary in the streaming industry for their dedicated Linux/Android OS, physical remote controls, and classic cable-like TV guide navigation. This step-by-step tutorial explains how to connect your MAG box to IPTVClear using MAC address portal activation.

1. Finding Your MAG Box MAC Address

Every MAG device has a unique physical MAC address starting with 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX located on the bottom barcode sticker or in System Settings > Device Info. Send this MAC address to our WhatsApp support desk (+36 706302902) to link your subscription.

2. Entering Your Portal URL in MAG Settings

1. Power on your MAG box without the Ethernet cable plugged in (or reboot and hold the Gear / Setup button on your remote).
2. Navigate to System Settings > Servers > Portals.
3. Configure the Portal fields:
   • Portal 1 Name: IPTVClear
   • Portal 1 URL: http://mag.iptvclear.local:8080/c/ (provided upon activation)
4. Press OK to save settings, then navigate back to Reboot Device.
5. Your MAG box will load the yellow progress bar and launch your digital TV guide immediately!

3. Troubleshooting: Fixing “Your STB Is Blocked” or “Page Loading Error”

• Check Date & Time NTP: In System Settings > Servers > More, ensure the NTP server is set to pool.ntp.org.
• Re-Verify MAC Address: Confirm that the MAC address registered on your account exactly matches the device info screen.
